My eir – self service portal

Redesign and redevelopment of the My eir platform – a self service portal allowing users to top up their mobile, check data usage and access their account information.


Redesign of the eir self service platform My eir. This platform allows users to top up their mobile, access and review data usage information and update their account information.

The challenge was to redesign this portal to simplify and make the user eperience and user interface more intuitive and easy to use for customers. Key goals for the project were simplification of the login process, reducing the number of steps and actions required to register, login and carry out actions on the platform.

Project timeline: 6 months
My role: UX and UI designer
– UX workshop facilitation and requirement gathering
– User testing, identifying existing user pain points
– Low and high fidelity wireframes and prototypes
– Working closely with an agile development team
– QA assessment with development team
– A-B testing and analysis
